Newburgh smoke shop sells $50K Powerball ticket

NEWBURGH, NY – A smoke shop in Newburgh sold a $50,000 Powerball ticket for Monday night’s drawing, the New York Lottery announced.

The winning ticket, which matched four numbers and the Power Ball in the September 29 drawing, was purchased at Smokes 4 Less, located at 59 North Plank Road.

The Powerball game, one of the nation’s most popular lotteries, is drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.

The New York Lottery continues to fund education across the state, contributing $3.6 billion last fiscal year alone.
