South Webster lottery ticket hits $100K jackpot in Powerball drawing

SOUTH WEBSTER, OH — A lucky Powerball player who purchased a ticket in South Webster is $100,000 richer after matching numbers in Saturday’s drawing.

The winning ticket, sold at Country Store Foods on State Route 140, matched four out of five white ball numbers and the red Powerball to secure a third-tier $50,000 prize. Because the ticket also included the Power Play option, the prize amount doubled to $100,000.

The winning numbers for the January 6 drawing were 26, 32, 43, 54, and 56, with a Powerball of 24 and a Power Play multiplier of 2. The winner selected their numbers using auto pick.

The ticket holder has 180 days from the draw date to claim their prize. As of January 6, the prize remains unclaimed.
