Stabbing in Southeast D.C. Leaves Man Injured, Suspect at Large

Washington, D.C. – The D.C. Metro Police Department is asking for the community’s help in locating a suspect involved in a stabbing incident.

On Tuesday, June 11, at approximately 4:06 p.m., the suspect approached a man in the 2400 block of Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue, Southeast. The suspect brandished a knife, stabbed the victim, and fled the scene. The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect.

Anyone with information about the suspect or the incident is urged to call the police at (202) 727-9099 or text a tip to 50411. A reward of up to $10,000 is offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
