Stabbing Incident on Lansing St Investigated by Utica Police

Utica, NY – At approximately 7:50 PM, Utica Police and Utica Fire units were dispatched to the 300 block of Lansing St for a reported stabbing incident.

Upon arrival, first responders discovered a victim with multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to Wynn Hospital where efforts to save his life were unsuccessful, and he succumbed to his injuries.

The Crime Scene Unit is currently on the scene processing evidence. The case has been assigned to the Major Crimes Unit for further investigation.
