Stabbing Suspect Indicted for Murder in Worcester County

Worcester, MA – A murder indictment was handed up last week in Worcester County against Sadrac Metellus, accused of fatally stabbing Vesline Garnier in their Worcester apartment on February 14.

Worcester Police responded to the scene, finding Garnier with multiple stab wounds in their apartment on 6 Douglas St. after 5 p.m.

Metellus was subsequently charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon following his arraignment in Worcester Central District Court on February 15.

The case has since progressed to Worcester Superior Court, where Metellus is set to be arraigned on May 14.
