Stafford boy ticketed for ‘doing the right thing’, police issue fine for free Ray’s Pizza

STAFFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ – A good story out of Stafford Township this week as the Stafford Township Police Department issued a ticket for a free pizza and drink at Ray’s Pizza for doing the right thing.

“Check out 4-year old Colton from the Primary Learning Center. After seeing some of his friends having trouble reaching a shelf in the classroom, Colton was caught red-handed, helping them unpack their belongings and putting the needed items on the shelf for his classmates,” the department said in a post on Facebook. “What’s his fine?? Colton has to respond with his ‘ticket’ to Rays Pizza to receive his free pizza and a drink. The Stafford Township would like to give a big thank you to Rays New York Pizza – Manahawkin for generously donating these tickets to help our officers recognize children doing the right thing. We would also like to thank the Stafford Township School District for partnering with us in this initiative to recognize our students!”
