Staten Island Commercial Robbery Suspect Sought

STATEN ISLAND – The New York City Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating a suspect involved in a commercial robbery that occurred within the confines of the 120th Precinct.

The incident took place on Wednesday, August 9, at approximately 1600 hours, when an unidentified individual entered a business establishment at 17 Corson Avenue, Staten Island.

The suspect, armed with a knife, threatened a 37-year-old female employee and demanded money.

The individual forcibly took approximately $500 from the cash register and then fled the scene on foot, heading on Daniel Low Terrace onto Benziger Avenue.

The employee did not sustain any injuries during the robbery.
