Statue Vandalized in Queens, Suspect at Large

QUEENS, N.Y. — Police are searching for an individual who vandalized a statue early Wednesday morning in the Jamaica neighborhood.

The incident took place at approximately 3:10 a.m. on September 25, 2024, in front of 88-19 Parsons Boulevard. An unidentified person damaged the statue and then fled the scene on foot to an unknown location, according to authorities.

No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking for any information that may help identify the suspect.
