Stolen Acura loaded with drugs leads to two arrests in Glen Burnie

Two men with outstanding warrants were arrested Tuesday evening after officers stopped a stolen car and found multiple drugs inside in Glen Burnie, police said.

The stop happened around 5:50 p.m. in the 8000 block of Ritchie Highway, where officers pulled over a silver 2021 Acura that had been reported stolen in Montgomery County.

Officers recovered approximately six grams of suspected Ecstasy, 15 grams of suspected crack cocaine, .7 grams of suspected Xanax, .5 grams of suspected Oxycodone, 27 grams of suspected cannabis, and 2.5 grams of suspected heroin/fentanyl.

The driver, Kevin Sherrod Grant Jr., 33, of Randallstown, and passenger, Travis Colby Gunthrop, 31, of Baltimore, were taken into custody and face charges related to the stolen vehicle and drug possession.
