Store Employee Assaulted and Robbed in Late-Night Robbery

NEW YORK, NY – Late Monday night, a store employee became the victim of a violent robbery at 403 Crescent Street. Authorities report that at around 11:37 PM, an unidentified assailant entered the premises, initiated a confrontation over a bag of chips, and subsequently attacked the 32-year-old male employee.

Following a heated verbal exchange, the assailant punched the employee in the eye and forcibly took approximately $50 from the cash register. The attacker then fled the scene, heading east on Crescent Avenue by foot.

The employee sustained minor eye injuries from the assault but declined any medical treatment. Police are actively investigating the incident and seeking information on the unidentified suspect.
