Stray Bullet Critically Injures 65-Year-Old Woman in Wilkinsburg Shooting

WILKINSBURG, PA – A 65-year-old woman was critically injured after being shot in the lower back while seated in her vehicle, becoming an unintended victim in a shooting incident.

The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit responded to the scene following a 9-1-1 call at approximately 4:00 pm. The incident occurred near the intersection of Pennwood Avenue and Rowland Connector.

First responders immediately transported the woman to a local hospital, where she is currently listed in critical condition. Witnesses reported seeing two males in black clothing fleeing the area on foot shortly after the shooting.
