String of Armed Robberies Reported Across New York City by Same Actors, Police Say

NEW YORK CITY - NYPD police cars.

NEW YORK, NY — The New York City Police Department seeks the public’s help in locating suspects and a vehicle involved in a series of armed robberies. The incidents, taking place across the 34, 30, 48, 49, and 47 Precincts, involved three male suspects executing a series of cash thefts at gunpoint.

The first reported incident occurred at 553 West 207 Street in the 34 Precinct on March 25, at around 11:30 PM. Three assailants took an unspecified amount of cash and fled in a black Honda Pilot.

On March 26, at approximately 8:45 PM, the same trio targeted 804 West 181 Street in the 34 Precinct but left empty-handed. They escaped in a blue Toyota Prius.

Shortly after, at 8:55 PM on March 26, the group stole approximately $2,000 from 3557 Broadway in the 30 Precinct, fleeing in a blue vehicle.

The 48 Precinct saw a robbery at 443 Morris Park Avenue on March 27, at about 3:31 AM, where $160 was stolen. The suspects left in a blue vehicle.

In the 49 Precinct, at 2090 Bronxdale Avenue, around 3:40 AM on March 27, the robbers took an undisclosed amount of cash and ran away on foot.

The last reported incident happened at 1 East 233 Street in the 47 Precinct at approximately 4:00 AM on March 27, with $1,000 taken. The getaway direction remains unknown.

No injuries were reported in any of the incidents. Authorities are asking anyone with information to come forward to aid in the investigation.
