Subway Groper Sought by NYPD

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting public assistance in locating an individual connected to a forcible touching incident.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, October 4, at approximately 4:45 pm at the East 125 Street and Lexington Avenue subway station.

A 40-year-old female victim reported being slapped on the buttocks by an unknown male, who subsequently fled on a northbound 5 train.

The victim did not sustain any injuries. The suspect is described as approximately 5’6” tall, slim build, with medium complexion and long dreads, last seen wearing a Cubs jersey, blue jeans, black boots, a dark bucket hat, and yellow metal chains.

The NYPD encourages anyone with information to contact the Crime Stoppers Hotline or submit tips online.
