Subway Groper Sought in Queens

QUEENS, NY — A disturbing incident of forcible touching was reported to have occurred on a southbound ‘7’ train near Elmhurst Avenue and Roosevelt Avenue on Tuesday, July 2, at about 3:30 PM. A 29-year-old female victim was approached by an unknown male who forcibly touched her buttocks.

The perpetrator, described as a light-complexioned male weighing about 150 pounds and standing 5 feet 5 inches tall with short black hair, was last seen wearing a black polo shirt, blue jeans, black sneakers, and black sunglasses. He exited the train at the 90 Street-Elmhurst Avenue station and was last seen walking away to an undisclosed location.

Fortunately, the victim did not sustain any injuries. The NYPD is actively seeking the suspect and encourages anyone with information about the incident to come forward to assist with the investigation.
