Surveillance Footage Captures D.C. Armed Carjacker

WASHINGTON, DC – The D.C. Metro Police Department is seeking help to identify a suspect involved in an armed carjacking in Northeast.

The incident happened on Tuesday, May 14, around 12:09 p.m. when two suspects, armed with handguns, confronted a victim on a motor scooter in the 1200 block of H Street.

After threatening the victim, the suspects seized the scooter and escaped. Surveillance footage capturing one of the suspects has been released for public assistance.
