Suspect Accused of Aggravated Assault Against Wheelchair Bound Man

CAMP HILL, PA – Darren Ross has been detained by the Lower Allen Township Police Department after allegedly threatening a male in a wheelchair at 2109 Cedar Run on Wednesday at 1:49 PM.

Ross reportedly pointed what was later found to be an airsoft gun at the victim and then attempted to assault him with his silver Honda Civic. He also allegedly stole the victim’s phone. Video evidence provided by a witness showed the victim being dragged across a parking lot when trying to retrieve his phone from Ross’s vehicle.

Ross was located in the area of his residence in Hampden Twp and was detained by officers. Ross now faces charges of aggravated assault, robbery, terroristic threats, and recklessly endangering another. The investigation is ongoing.
