FREDERICK, MD (POLICE BLOTTER) – The Frederick Police Department has arrested and charged a suspect in the double shooting of two victims earlier this month.
At approximately 1 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, officers responded to a shooting in the 1000 Block of Heather Ridge Drive that left two adult males injured.
During the investigation, detectives identified Raven Justin Cosley, 42, of Hagerstown, as the suspect in the shooting. At approximately 5 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2022, investigators took Cosley into custody with the assistance of the US Marshals Captial Region Fugitive Task Force. Cosley was taken into custody without incident.
