Suspect Arrested for Murder of Ange Gadge

FREDERICK, MD – Montgomery County Police have arrested 39-year-old Anthony Blackford in connection with the murder of Ange Gadji. The arrest was made on Tuesday, June 4, following a homicide investigation that began on Sunday, June 2.

Detectives from the Major Crimes Division spearheaded the investigation shortly after Gadji’s death. An autopsy performed by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore confirmed the manner of death as homicide.

Through their investigative efforts, detectives identified Blackford as a suspect, leading to the issuance of an arrest warrant. Blackford was subsequently apprehended and transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where he is currently held without bond.
