COCKEYSVILLE, MD – Baltimore County Detectives arrested 42-year-old Larry Edwards for the fatal shooting of Earl Bodkin Jr., 28. The incident occurred on Monday, May 1, 2023, at the intersection of Cranbrook and Halesworth Road. Edwards is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
Officers were dispatched to the scene where they discovered Bodkin suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body. Despite the response and the efforts of emergency medical services, Bodkin was unable to survive the inflicted injury.
With the conclusion of initial inquiries and on-the-ground investigations, Larry Edwards was identified as a suspect.
