Suspect Arrested in Fatal D.C. Stabbing

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A fatal stabbing incident in Southwest D.C. on Saturday evening has resulted in the arrest of 49-year-old Wali Shabazz.

The incident occurred in the 100 block of T Street, where a man was found with multiple stab wounds. Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

The victim has been identified as 41-year-old Martin Gross Jr. of Northwest, D.C. Shabazz, who is from Southwest D.C., was detained near the scene. He faces charges of Second Degree Murder while Armed. Authorities believe the stabbing was the result of a workplace dispute between Gross and Shabazz.
