Suspect Arrested in Harrisburg Shooting

HARRISBURG, PA – The Harrisburg Police Department reported a shooting incident on Tuesday evening at approximately 7:30 PM.

The shooting occurred in the area of South 16th and Chestnut Streets. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

The injured male, identified as James King, was transported to a local hospital for treatment. However, investigation revealed King’s role as a participant in the shooting.

King has been charged with criminal attempt homicide, two counts of aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, and possession of a firearm prohibited.
