Suspect Arrested in Scott Township Shooting

Scott Township, PA- Police responded to an incident on August 14 where a shooting occurred at approximately 6:43 a.m. in the 300 Block of Camelot Drive,

The adult male victim was found with gunshot wounds to his torso and arm. He was promptly transported to a nearby hospital and is currently in stable condition.

Upon arrival at the scene, the Scott Township Police launched an investigation.

Detectives later identified the suspect as 26-year-old Juwan Haynes, from Penn Hills.

As a result of the investigation, Haynes was charged with multiple offenses, including aggravated assault, burglary, robbery, theft, and firearm violations.

Haynes surrendered to the police later in the evening. He is now in custody and will be held at the Allegheny County Jail pending his arraignment.
