Suspect Caught on Camera in D.C. Carjacking

WASHINGTON, DC – The D.C. Metro Police Department is reaching out for public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a recent unarmed carjacking in Northeast Washington. The incident took place on Tuesday, around 8:00 p.m., when a suspect approached a victim who was refueling her car in the 4100 block of Hunt Street. The suspect then entered the vehicle and fled the scene.

Surveillance footage capturing the suspect has been obtained and is crucial for identifying the individual involved.
