Suspect Charged for Deadly Attack in Brooklyn

Brooklyn, NY – A tragic incident unfolded in Brooklyn over the weekend, leading to the arrest and charging of a local man in connection to a fatal assault.

Brandon Paulino, a 30-year-old male from 330 MacDougal Street, was found unconscious and unresponsive on the sidewalk in front of his residence on Sunday, February 25, at around 1:40 PM, following a 911 call reporting an assault. Police and EMS quickly responded to the scene in the 73rd Precinct. Paulino was transported to Interfaith Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

In the wake of the investigation, Eduardo Martinez, a 42-year-old male also residing at 330 MacDougal Street, was arrested on Tuesday, February 27, at approximately 2:00 PM, within the same precinct. Martinez faces charges in connection with Paulino’s death.
