Suspect Charged for July Murder in Harlem

NEW YORK, NY – Eric Nunez, a 43-year-old resident of New York, was arrested and charged on Monday, November 27, in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in July. The arrest took place at 12:45 pm by 25th Precinct officers.

Nunez faces charges of murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

The victim of the July incident has been identified as 55-year-old Antonio Felder, who lived at 117 East 118th Street. The shooting occurred on Saturday, July 22, around 2326 hours, at East 116 Street and Lexington Avenue in Harlem.

Upon responding to the report of a shooting, police officers found Felder with gunshot wounds to his torso and leg. Emergency Medical Services transported him to New York City Health and Hospitals/ Harlem, where he was pronounced deceased.
