LOTHIAN, MD – On Wednesday, at approximately 1:15 p.m., officers from the Southern District Police Department responded to a reported armed confrontation at the intersection of Seven Oaks Lane and Mt. Zion Marlboro Road.
The incident began as an argument between two individuals, during which Jeremiah Deniko Taylor, a 23-year-old resident of Edgewater, Maryland, allegedly threatened another person with a handgun and pursued them down the road.
Upon arrival, officers located Taylor, who attempted to flee but was apprehended following a brief foot pursuit.
He was found in possession of a .40 caliber handgun. Taylor has since been arrested and charged in connection with the assault.
The Southern District Police Department continues its investigation into this incident.
