Suspect dropped gun while fleeing grocery store after assault and robbery

COLUMBUS, OH – On April 3, 2023, a man and a woman stole multiple items from a Morse Road grocery store, leading to a confrontation with store security.

The male suspect dropped a handgun during the altercation and quickly picked it up before pushing back the security guard and fleeing the scene with his accomplice.

No arrests have been made.

The Columbus Police Robbery Unit is seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspects involved in this crime. Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Agee at (614) 645-2602 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at (614) 461-TIPS.
