Suspect Found Wandering Streets in Custody at Hackensack Police Headquarters

HACKENSACK, NJ – A wandering dog discovered at the intersection of Ross Ave and Krone Place has temporarily moved into Hackensack Police Headquarters.

Officers from the Hackensack Police Department found the dog on Monday morning. It appears the animal took a detour from its usual surroundings, ending up near Ross Ave and Krone Place. Local authorities took the canine to the police headquarters where it is currently staying.

Police are actively looking for the dog’s owner and have taken to social media for assistance. They shared a post on their official Facebook page to inform the community and facilitate the search for the pet’s home. The post humorously identifies the dog as “the adventurous canine who decided to take a detour.”

The Hackensack Police Department is urging residents who have information about the dog’s owner to contact them.
