Suspect Identified in Series of Citywide Robberies in NYC

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking assistance in identifying the individuals associated with a series of robberies that have occurred across the city. The incidents span from Saturday, May 13, to Friday, May 26.

The first reported incident took place at about 6:00 AM in the 103rd Precinct when property was taken from an unoccupied car. Further incidents involved assaults and thefts from individuals, with victims ranging from 34 to 79 years old.

Several victims sustained injuries in the process and required medical assistance.

The department has provided surveillance footage and photos from the eighth incident, which occurred on May 26, 2023. It involved the forceful removal of a purse from a 63-year-old victim.
