NEW YORK CITY, NY – Abel Andrade Vargas, a 21-year-old male from Syracuse, was arrested on Wednesday, in relation to a robbery.
He faces two counts of robbery. The incident happend on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at Diamond Collect.
Two males assaulted a 79-year-old female employee, causing severe injuries, and stole approximately $500,000 in jewelry.
The victim was hospitalized and is in stable condition.
