Suspect in Norristown Shooting Arrested

NORRISTOWN, PA – Edison Antonio Adames, the suspect in a shooting that took place on March 20, 2022, at W. Marshall Street and George Street in Norristown, Montgomery County, has been arrested today. The victim was shot multiple times in the stomach and legs during the incident.

Adames faces several charges, including aggravated assault, simple assault, and recklessly endangering another person.

Police had urged anyone with information on Adames’ whereabouts to contact them, with callers remaining anonymous and potentially eligible for cash rewards. Adames was considered armed and dangerous, as the nine-millimeter handgun used in the incident had not been recovered at the time of his arrest.
