Suspect Surrenders After Bar Fight Shooting in Northeast Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Early Monday morning, a bar fight escalated into a shooting on the streets of Northeast Philadelphia.

The suspect initially fled the scene but later returned to surrender to the police.

The incident occurred just after 1 a.m. outside Tio Pepe Seafood and Steakhouse.

Officers located a handgun in the suspect’s SUV, which was parked a block away from the scene.

 The victim, who was shot in the back, is in critical condition at an area hospital. The investigation is ongoing.
