Suspect used stolen credit card at Brooklyn meat market

NEW YORK, NY – Police are searching for a suspect who used stolen credit cards at a Halal meat market near Prospect Park last Wednesday.

According to police, the credit card used at the market was reported stolen earlier in the day in Queens.

The suspect is now wanted for grand larceny.

“An unknown male individual used a stolen credit card to purchase merchandise inside of a grocery store located at 1820 Church Avenue, in the confines of the 70 Precinct,” the NYPD said Tuesday night in a statement. “The credit card used was reported stolen earlier that day in the confines of the 105th Precinct.”

Police are asking the public to assist in identifying the suspect.
