Suspect Wanted for Theft from Auto in West Cumberland Street

PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Central Detective Division is urging the public to assist in identifying an individual caught on surveillance footage. On Thursday, around 2:40 am, the suspect was captured on camera attempting to open parked cars on the 2200 block of West Cumberland Street.

The suspect managed to gain access to the complainant’s car, removing a black 9mm Smith and Wesson M&P Shield 2.0 pistol. The suspect is described as a black female with shoulder-length hair, wearing a red and white dress with white shoes.
