Suspect wanted in Sheepshead Bay bank customer ATM robbery

BROOKLYN, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking public assistance in identifying two individuals involved in a grand larceny that occurred within the 61 Precinct on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at approximately 11:04 am.

An 82-year-old male was completing a transaction at a Citibank located at 1528 Sheepshead Bay Road when an individual approached him, asking if he had dropped money. As the victim checked, a second individual removed the victim’s debit card from the ATM machine. This individual then withdrew a total of $5,000 from the victim’s account at the same bank location.

The first suspect is described as a female with a medium complexion. The second suspect is yet to be described.
