Suspect Who Fired Gun at MTA Bus Sought

NEW YORK CITY - MTA Bus Route x7 on Fifth Avenue at 42nd Street, New York City, USA.

NEW YORK CITY, NY – Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying an individual who discharged a firearm at an MTA Q3 bus on September 21.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:40 a.m. at the intersection of Farmers Boulevard and 147 Avenue. An unknown individual fired a gun, striking the front door of a southbound MTA Q3 bus. The suspect then fled westbound on foot on 147 Avenue. No injuries were reported.

The individual is described as a male, approximately 6′ tall with a medium complexion and build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and tan sneakers.
