Suspect Who Went on Rampage in Lakewood and Jackson Will Remain in Jail Until Trial

TOMS RIVER, NJ – Dion Marsh, 27, of Manchester, will remain remanded in the Ocean County Jail until his trial. Marsh went on a violent rampage targeting Orthodox Jewish residents in Jackson and Lakewood two weeks ago and on Monday, Judge Guy P. Ryan, P.J.Cr.P., ordered that Marsh shall remain detained in the Ocean County Jail.

Marsh is facing multiple charges, including federal charges of terrorism, four counts of attempted murder, attempted kidnapping, possession of a weapon and two charges of attempted carjacking.

Marsh has been lodged in the Ocean County Jail since his apprehension on April 8, 2022.  The detention hearing was handled by Assistant Prosecutor Victoria Esler.
