Suspect Withdrew $8k Illegal from Another’s Bank Account

NEW YORK CITY, NY – A recent bank fraud incident has prompted the New York City Police Department to seek the public’s assistance.

On Thursday, December 22, 2022, around 2:00 pm, an unidentified male entered the TD Bank at 762 2nd Avenue.

Using the identification information of a 34-year-old victim, he illicitly withdrew about $8,640. The suspect then left the scene on foot. No injuries were reported.

The male is described as having a light complexion, aged 25-35, with a medium build and black hair. He was last seen wearing a brown hooded sweater with “Heart Broken” written in white, black pants, and black sneakers.

The Police Department asked anyone with relevant details to come forward.
