Suspects Nabbed in Death of Columbus Teen Dante Johnson

COLUMBUS, OH — Columbus Police SWAT apprehended two individuals implicated in the recent murder of a 17-year-old. Dante Johnston, 18, and Chrissean Houston, 16, face murder charges following their arrest on November 2.

Authorities were dispatched on October 31 to the 1600 block of Cleveland Avenue after reports of gunfire. They discovered Dezmond Vaughn-Butler with a gunshot injury. The teen later succumbed to his wounds at a local hospital on November 1. The investigation into the events leading to the fatal shooting continues.
