Suspects sought in armed robbery in Northeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Police are searching for suspects involved in an armed robbery that took place in Northeast Washington, D.C., on Monday afternoon.

At approximately 3:41 p.m., the suspects approached victims in the 5500 block of Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue, Northeast. One of the suspects brandished a firearm, and the victims were assaulted before their property was stolen.

The suspects fled the scene following the robbery. No further details have been released on the suspects’ identities.
