Suspects sought in Highbridge street gunfight

BRONX, NY – Gunfire erupted in Highbridge on Monday during a suspected shootout between two suspects.

The NYPD is now asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the whereabouts of two unidentified individuals involved in that shooting.

The suspects reportedly fired multiple shots from a firearm toward each other in front of 1150 Ogden Avenue at approximately 10:05 pm. Both individuals fled on foot in opposite directions along 167 Street.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident; however, a vehicle and dumpster were damaged by gunfire.

The first suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion and medium build, last seen wearing a black and white jacket, black pants, and black shoes.

The second suspect is described as a male approximately 6’0″ tall with a slim build, last seen wearing a black mask, gray hooded sweatshirt with a blue stripe across the chest, black pants, and black sneakers. Anyone with information is urged to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline.
