NEW YORK CITY, NY – A critical search is underway as the New York City Police Department (NYPD) seeks public aid in locating an individual linked to a shooting that occurred last month.
The incident, which transpired on Friday, September 22, around 2:08 am, saw a 41-year-old woman being approached by an unknown male near East 215 Street and White Plains Road.
A verbal dispute escalated to violence when the male discharged a firearm.
The shooting injured the woman in the shoulder and chest. The shooter fled northbound on White Plains Road.
The NYPD has provided a description of the suspect, who remains at large, and asked anyone with information to come forward.
