Suspects wanted for assault in the Bronx

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking public assistance in identifying two individuals in connection to an assault incident that took place last Friday, June 9, in the vicinity of 139 Street and Alexander Avenue.

The incident occurred around 8:08 pm, when two unidentified individuals reportedly approached a crowd and one discharged several rounds from a firearm.

A 19-year-old male was struck in the rear right shoulder and was later admitted to a nearby hospital in stable condition. The individuals are said to have fled west on 140 Street.

The police department encourages anyone with information related to the incident to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
