Suspects wanted in NYC subway station boxcutter attack

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking help to identify an individual involved in an attempted robbery on Friday, around 4:50 pm in the Bronx.

Reportedly, two unidentified male individuals demanded property from a 51-year-old male. The suspects pursued the victim into the ‘2’,’5′ MTA subway station, where the victim was assaulted with box cutters.

The perpetrators fled the subway station empty-handed, while the victim was transported by EMS to a local hospital. One suspect was apprehended shortly after.
