Suspects Wanted in Series of High-Stakes Burglaries of Local Businesses

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is actively investigating two burglaries that occurred on Tuesday, January 23.

Both incidents involved a single suspect, described as a tall, slim male with a dark complexion.

The first burglary took place at approximately 8:00 pm at a business located at 105-05 180 Street, where the suspect broke in and stole checks valued at $2,229.

The second incident occurred around 8:25 pm at 180-08 Liberty Avenue, where the suspect broke in and stole $10,000 in cash and blank business checks. The individual was last seen wearing a black hoodie, camo pants, and socks.

The NYPD has released media depicting the suspect from the second incident and is seeking public assistance in identifying him.
