Suspicious death in Baltimore declared a homicide

BALTIMORE, MD – Baltimore Police Department detectives on Tuesday declared the death of a man found on dead on North Taylor Avenue a homicide after a weeklong investigation.

Last Tuesday, police officers responded to the area of North Taylor Avenue and Eastern Boulevard after receiving a report of a man suffering from a cardiac arrest was made.

Upon their arrival, officers found a man bloodied and unresponsive. Medics transported the male victim to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

An autopsy later determined 67-year-old Michael Abey had been fatally shot multiple times.

Now, police are investigating the murder and asking possible witnesses to contact them.
