Suspicious Vehicle Yields a Grisly Discovery in Paterson

PATERSON, NJ – Paterson Police Department officers discovered a man with an apparent gunshot wound to the head on Sunday. Officer-In-Charge Isa Abbassi of the Paterson Police Department and Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes stated that officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle around 8:30 a.m. near 18th Avenue and East 28th Street.

Inside the vehicle, a 33-year-old male from Paterson was found in the driver’s seat, he was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Police did not identify the victim. No arrests have been announced at this time.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
