SYRACUSE, NY – The Syracuse Police Department responded promptly to a stabbing incident yesterday, at around 11:02 P.M. Upon arriving at the scene on the 200 block of North Townsend Street, officers discovered a 38-year-old male suffering from multiple stab wounds to his midsection.
The victim was quickly transported to Upstate Hospital, where he received medical attention and is expected to make a full recovery. Officers Brauchle and Fellows worked diligently on the case and were able to swiftly identify and apprehend the suspect, 38-year-old Kenneth Jackson, of Syracuse.
Jackson has been charged with Assault in the Second Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree. He is currently being held at the Onondaga County Justice Center as the investigation continues.
