T-Mobile thief caught on camera in Newark electronics grab

Newark, NJ – Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who shoplifted 15 iPhone chargers from a T-Mobile store on July 25.

The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. at the T-Mobile location in the 700 block of Mayor Kenneth A. Gibson Boulevard. Surveillance footage shows the suspect entering the store, placing multiple chargers into a bag, and exiting without paying.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black hat, black hoodie, white tank top, black pants, and white sneakers.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Newark Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Tips remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward.
