Memphis, TN – Demario Davis, 35, of Memphis has been sentenced to 204 months in federal prison for distribution of heroin, cocaine, and fentanyl.  Joseph C. Murphy, Jr., United States Attorney, announced the sentence today. According  to  information  presented in  court,  on  February  12,  2018,  members of  the Memphis Police  Department’s – Organized Crime Unit  responded to an overdose that occurred at a hotel room on Madison Avenue.  Davis was identified as the source of these narcotics. Leader of $9 Million Scheme to Defraud Prescription Drug Coupon Programs Sentenced to Over 17 Years in Federal Prison

Miami, Florida – Today, William Clero, 45, a resident of Miami, Florida, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge K. Michael Moore to 210 months in prison.  Clero had previously pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and wire fraud stemming from his role as the leader in a $9 million scheme to defraud prescription drug cost-savings (coupon) programs offered by pharmaceutical manufacturers to reduce the cost of prescription drugs for consumers.  Clero’s co-defendant, Cesar Armando Perez Amador, 52, a resident of Miami, Florida, was sentenced to 87 months in prison for his role in the scheme.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Severano Ceballos Martinez, 45, of Copaco, Sinaloa, Mexico, was sentenced in federal court today to 17 years and six months in prison for possession with intent to distribute 500 grams and more of methamphetamine.
